What is the Azeus Air Purifier Best For?
Low budgets: the Azeus air purifier is very reasonably priced for the excellent filtration system and overall quality. It would be ideal for students, those on a tight budget, or for buying 2 or 3 to place in various rooms without blowing the budget.
Medium-large rooms and bedrooms: the recommended room size is 376 square feet or a medium-large living room. It’s also excellent for large bedrooms as the night light can be switched off and the lowest fan speed is whisper quiet.
Asthma and allergy relief: the true-HEPA, ozone-free filtration and high ACH (air change per hour) make the Azeus a great choice for allergy sufferers and asthmatics. The true-HEPA filter catches common allergens such as dust, dander, mold, and pollen, while the ozone-free design keeps your lungs (and your pets) safe.
Customers who reviewed this unit have raved about heavily-reduced allergy symptoms and effective relief from asthma in the home.
Size, Weight, Coverage, and Ratings
CADR: The Azeus air purifier doesn’t have any specific CADR ratings available, however, it cleans a 376 square foot room over 4.5 times an hour. We at AirHonest are impressed by this rate and think it bodes well for the overall operation of the unit.
CADR refers to “clean air delivery rate” and indicates how fast the air purifier takes to clear a certain room size.
Size: 12.4 x 8.3 x 8.3 inches
Weight: 5 pounds
Coverage: 376 square feet

True-HEPA filter: captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns such as dander, mold, pollen, and bacteria
Activated carbon filter: absorbs pet, food, and smoke odors
Does the Azeus have an Ionizer?
No, there are no ionizers or UV-C lights. What’s more, the Azeus air purifier is certified by the CARB (California Air Resources Board) as a safe and 100% ozone-free product.

Style, Operation, Modes, and Features
The Azeus air purifier has a curved, cylindrical shape and is reasonably compact at 12.4 inches tall. The air is sucked in through vents at the bottom of the unit before traveling through the filters and being released out of the outlet at the top. This is a great set-up as it means that the air is being drawn in and released around the unit and not just from one side.
There is one solo button that controls the entire unit. Press once, twice, or three times to scroll through the three fan speeds, and hold down to turn the blue night light off. This is a very simple machine to use, with minimal features and streamlined user operation.
Maintenance and Filter Requirements
How often do the filters need to be changed?
Azeus recommends changing the filter every 6 months, but this may differ depending on usage and how contaminated the air is.
Can the filters be cleaned or washed?
You can gently vacuum or brush the filter to remove large pieces of dust and debris. However, it cannot be washed or exposed to liquids.
Where can I get replacement filters for the Azeus and how much are they?
Find the Azeus air purifier replacement filters for a low price on Amazon here. The annual cost (if you replace it twice a year) is very reasonable.
Azeus Air Purifier vs. Levoit Vista 200
The Azeus air purifier is very similar to the Vista 200, they could be siblings. (Check out our review of the Vista 200 here). They are both cylindrical models that have top-facing air outlets and control panels with optional nightlights. They both have three fan speeds and a 3-stage true-HEPA filter system with an activated carbon filter.
However, the Vista 200 has a much smaller recommended room area of 171 square feet (as opposed to 376) so it is best for small rooms. Vista 200 is more sophisticated as it has a timer, filter change indicator, and sleep mode.
As a result, it is a little more expensive, but still in the low-end price range. The Vista 200 has excellent reviews with similar comments as those common in Azeus reviews, stating reduced allergy symptoms and fresher air.
